I've decided to try and 'morph seven teams of Pokemon (all of the ones I've had over the fourth and fifth generations), because I hate myself. This is (ideally) one of many to follow.
Meet Jordan DeSantos, a bookish Geodude who is deceptively strong despite his wiry appearance. Though studying predominantly for tactical purposes, his specialties lean towards HMs - most of which require immense physical prowess. (He's using Strength on the right.) Due to being a freshman, his move pool is limited, but when Neen Ramis is mysteriously absent at the beginning of the school year, the leader of her combat team enlists Jordan as a stand-in.
(No nudie reference. He's fifteen. That'd just be squicky.)
Jordan (and Nina) are from my Diamond team, which also consists of a Snorlax, Toxicroak, Electivire, Lucario and Drifblim. But why a Geodude amongst a rank of high-rollers? Well, I spent most of Diamond with a vacant sixth slot, rotating out one unsatisfactory Pokemon with another. Eventually I just stopped trying and filled the empty spot with my HM bitch, a Geodude named HM Bitch. It's an undignified existence, but it means I don't have to keep retreating to a PokeCenter every time I encounter a boulder that needs pushing or a rock wall that needs climbing. His constant service, however, is worthy of merit, so he gets to be a Pokemorph. I even honored him in my Diamond-team bead sprite set.
I eventually decided to use a Shedinja as my sixth combatant slot, but I sort of stopped playing that save file before clearing the Elite Four because Platinum had come out.
Jordan's last name, "DeSantos," is a tribute to the second Red Power Ranger, whose name was Rocky DeSantos.
