I started this over about a month ago. I'm such a lardyslow.

ANYWAY here's the dating meme! It's slashy, so if you don't like teh gay, this meme's not for you.

The characters were chosen mostly at random; the only ones I picked out were Carrie and Cesar (I'm trying to get into the habit of using his, Timewarp and Spacerift's real names), because I could (and also I didn't want to exclude my Pokemorphs just because this was largely dedicated to OCs). And honestly, Carrie made for a lot of fun in this.

The breakdown!

QUESTION 1// This is the ONLY time you will see any of my lady characters in a fancy dress and lipstick. Still, drawing "night on the town" Raph was kind of fun. And I like the way her hair looks in that ponytail.

Also, if - heaven forbid - paying the bill comes down to a confrontation, both Carrie and Raph have enough income to cover the tab entirely. The problem is that Carrie is a prickly little number, so for Raph, being stuck with the whole bill is something worth arguing over.

The sign hanging between and above them - that's French for "shitty, overpriced food." Thanks to Benzaie of Channel Awesome for the hand, you magnificent french bastard.

QUESTION 2// D'aww! A few weeks ago I made a post about having drawn the most adorable Broadcast ever, and now you know why.

This picture HAD to be set in the snow. It's too squishy-romancey to not be.

QUESTION 3// Tobias is mimicking that pose from Smooth Criminal (I think?). Pestle can't properly dance, so she's using Earthbending motions instead. (The pose is referenced from this sheet.)

QUESTION 4// This is sort of cheating, doing a hetero picture with the super-gay Cesar without any real romancey stuff. He would have gotten Tammy ice cream regardless.

QUESTION 5// I actually fucked up a little on this. While making it, I had to keep two things in mind: first, I had to treat Pestle and Spatula as if the two weren't married, otherwise four of these questions would have been very samey. Second, I wanted Carrie to get some romantic action in, for one reason or another. All while making this picture, I had it in mind that the only reason Carrie had to make out with Spatch is if he was sitting on some sort of wealth, as she's thinking...the problem is that I forgot Spatch was actually born into a high-middle class family. So even putting up with Spatula's perpetually light wallet (he and Pestle keep their spending to a minimum while traveling the planes of existence), he doesn't have much money to his name.

QUESTION 6// FUCK. BICYCLES. You know why it took me so long to get this meme done?

...okay, it was due to Mass Effect 3, I'm not going to lie. But I would also be lying if I didn't say this goddamn bike didn't factor into it.

I had a few different ideas centering around Broadcast's poorness, such as him arriving on a dingy old razor scooter, or riding in Cesar's car. Cesar was irritated in that picture, but he's not easily annoyed, and I felt bad for the both of them. So, instead, a shitty bicycle and some Queen lyrics.

QUESTION 7// They fell into a lion pit somehow.

QUESTION 8// The two are plastered off their asses, so they might regret what will come next the morning after.

If you don't get the scissors picture...I'll leave that one to you to figure out.

QUESTION 9// As it says, Carrie and Pestle would NOT get along, even if they weren't romantically involved with each other.

QUESTION 10// Ah...I'd really hoped to reveal Pestle's back scars in a much more artistic way, but here you go nonetheless. (I had actually hoped to commission ~SioUte for a picture in regards to that, but the lass is super-busy!) So yes, Pestle has burn marks on her back from when she was a little kid, shortly before finding Jet for the first time.

My Pestula-shipping fans can consider this a gift.

FUN FACT Spatula only has one nipple! The other got burnt off by the huge fireball that caused that burn scar.
